Celebration Malaysia Day.. Mas Soaring High :D

Every year, UUM will organized Celebration of Malaysia Day.
Our DPP (Dewan Penginapan Pelajar) which is Malaysia Airlines or DPP MAS will participate to joined the programme.
Every DPP will get the theme which is give by the organizer. The theme are including the 'kemerdekaan', 'Komunis', and many else. Luckily, DPP MAS get the theme year 1957.
So, our costume are based on year 1957.
Last year are little bit unique than the past year because UUM will give the buggy to all the DPP and we need to create and decorate the buggy creatively based on the theme we get.

The students who's wear the DPP MAS t-shirt is a part of the cheerleading team for the DPP MAS.

Some of the students who's wear DPP MAS t-shirt with 'kain saroong' is the part of parade. They are like woman from the 1957 year right?? hehe..

For the man, they are wear plain t-shirt and the design of shirt are based on year 1957 to look them are like man from year 1957. Some of them are hold bananas, and other fruit to show they are farmer.. :)

This is the buggy that we are decorate. The people who are wearing black 'Baju Melayu' and 'songkok' are symbolized to Tunku Abdul Rahman who are known as "Bapa Kemerdekaan".

The other picture are during the Celebration of Malaysia Day. So, lets enjoy our picture.. :D

The ribbon in their scarf are analogous to our national flower which is Hibiscus flower.

Their face look happy and so excited.. :p

Our fellow En. Joezainy who are wear grey Baju Melayu also come to the celebration to enliven and support DPP MAS.

Eventhough, our DPP not win the competition but, we are happy and very satisfied because join the programme. Even, we are not win but, DPP MAS always the best..
